My daughter found "Odd Girl Out&quo...Oh, gee. My daughter found "Odd Girl Out" on the free book rack at Ultraviolet Cafe and gave it to me because "You like to read books like that." Now I am afraid to crack it. Of course, this hasn't stopped me from bugging my daughter with neurotic comments - "Did you give me this book because this is happening to you." Sigh - "No, Mooom." "Are girls mean to you." "No, Mom!" But now that she says she doesn't want to go to high school because "there will probably be more annoying people than in middle school" has me bugging her with questions again.
